Safety Practices

To help us maintain a safe environment, please use the nurse call button when you need assistance. If your doctor allows, you may get out of bed. Placing your bed in its lowest position will permit you to get in and out easily and prevent accidents. Wearing slippers or shoes may also help your safety. Please call the nurse if you need assistance with your activity.

Hospitals are required to carry out routine fire and disaster drills. These mock drills may involve various alarms, automatic door closures and response procedures practiced for your safety. In the unlikely event of a real emergency, our staff will instruct and assist you.
